At the beginning of the century, in 1920, an ancient colonial house becomes the "Bar Querandi", with its Art Deco frontage, its dark boisserie and its Salomon-style columns. For six decades it was a point of meeting, celebration, passionate discussion, where writers, artists and students created there, their rituals and private mystic. In 1922, after a twelve-year-old silence, EL QUERANDI avoids a destiny of demolition that seemed to be unavoided, thanks to the action of a few city defendants. And it comes back to life with its aesthethics untouched and its soul restored. The ideal place to enjoy some of the best tango music and dancing along with a delicious and assorted food.
