THE EXCURSION

This excursion enables visitors to interact with the Amazon rainforest and provides a more adventurous experience, helping the traveler get a closer look at Amazon life.


Highlights

Excursion to the Gamitana Creek, where travelers may observe birds, monkeys, caimans and a great diversity of unique aquatic fauna.

A diverse array of explorations, which include visiting Lake Sandoval, the most magnificent lake on the Tambopata National Reserve; a local plantation of Amazon Crops; and exploring Rolin Island, where INKATERRA protects endangered primate species.

Many opportunities to venture into the rainforest by night, both on foot and boat -searching for caimans and other nocturnal animals-.

Overnight and full board at RESERVA AMAZÓNICA (4 days and 3 nights), including breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner at one of the largest and best equipped kitchens in the southern Amazon.
